Other bodies which have arrangements with the Recreation Ground Trust to use its land include: Leisure Centre; Bath Tennis Club; Bath Croquet Club; Bath Bowls Club; Theatre Club
Bath Rugby plc is owned by... Andrew Brownsword, 78%, and Bath Football Club Trustees Ltd, 22%. Bath Football Club Trustees Ltd is... the body which evolved out of the amateur club which was majority purchased by Andrew Brownsword in 1996. Bath Football Club Trustees Ltd own the rugby club's training ground at Lambridge. The Trust is owned by the c. 3,700 people who were members of Bath Football Club in 1996.
Lambridge training ground is... valued at approximately £1 million. The site had been ear-marked by B&NES Council - which would have the right to compulsorily purchase Lambridge, if necessary - for a Park & Ride site which the Council must deliver in order to qualify for a Government grant of around £54 million for transportation improvements to Bath. However, the Council has now identified a different site for the Park & Ride, and therefore Bath Rugby Trustees are free to consider keeping, selling or exchanging this site.
